FESTIVAL OF LIFE GOLF TOURNAMENT

THE MASTER’S DAY GOLF TOURNAMENT
What, Where and When:
• Scheduled to be the largest one day golf tournament in
the world. We need 1020 players of all levels to compete
to establish this record with The Guinness World Records.
Format to be a four ball scramble.
• Tournament to be played on eight championship golf courses
in the Coachella Valley on April 3, 2010. These courses
will include Indian Wells Resort (Celebrity), Westin Mission
Hills Resort (two courses), Desert Falls Country Club, The
Classic Club, Terra Largo, La Quinta Resort and Club (Dunes
Course), and The Golf Club at La Quinta.
• Pairing/course assignment dinner party is April 2, 2009
at 6:00- 8:30 pm at the Westin Mission Hills Resort where
local professional golfer Jeff Cranford will interview former
US Open Champion Scott Simpson and several other well known
PGA pros.
How you can be involved:
• Be a part of a special day to honor the Lord and share
the love of Jesus Christ at “The Master’s Day Golf Tournament.”
• Volunteer your time at the golf course on the day of the
tournament.
• Sponsor a non-believer to play golf with you.
• If you are not a golfer, sponsor a non-believer to play
with a member of your church.
• Encourage the business community to sponsor golf holes
with prizes for closest to the pin, hole in one, etc.
Costs and other considerations:
• The cost to play is $110.00 which includes the Friday
night pairing party with dinner and the Saturday golf tournament
with lunch.
• Non-players may attend the Friday party at a cost of $30.00.
• Prizes will be awarded for team winners at each golf course
and on par three holes. WIN A NEW CAR with a Hole-In-One
Contest at each course.
• Attire for Friday evening is “Golf Casual”
